Edible Slime - Galaxy Glitter Slime

Learn how to make DIY edible slime with Metamucil and soda. This galaxy glitter slime is 100% edible.

Materials
  

  • 1 Tbsp Metamucil
  • 1 Cup Soda make sure it’s a soda that doesn’t have dyes in it such as a lemon-lime soda
  • Food Coloring
  • Edible Glitter Powder
  • Edible Glitter Sprinkles

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Microwave Safe Bowl
  • Popsicle Stick

Instructions
 

  • Measure out 1 tablespoon of fiber powder into a microwave safe dish.

  • Add 1 cup of soda
    Pouring sprite into a 1 cup measuring cup over a glass bowl
  • Stir the soda and fiber powder and then put it into the microwave on 30 second increments. To make the slime more stretchy microwave it for longer.

  • When you’ve reached the consistency you want, add the food coloring.

  • Repeat the process to make the different colors you want. Then sprinkle edible glitter and glitter sprinkles on top.

  • Mix the colors together to create the full galaxy slime effect.
